K.A.M Anagwin
Kam Anagwin Cook was born and raised in New Zealand, surrounded by tall mountains of the countryside. She felt at home and safe as she listened to the sounds of the sheep and cattle that called into the wind. Kam Anagwin found safety and acceptance from her animal friends. Despite struggling to verbally connect with the surrounding humans, she looked to nature to fill the gap.
As time passed, Kam Anagwin matured into a young adult, finding books she could identify with to help her embrace the written word. As she read, the more she thought she understood.
Kam Anagwin reached for the pen and began writing about what she saw and how she felt, recording each moment dear to her, forming beautiful stories upon white pages.
Eventually, Kam Anagwin developed her skills and pursued her interest in writing and reading. Even having the joy of teaching other young children who struggled to reach out to others, she hopes her stories will help other children embrace their feelings, knowing they’re not alone in this world.
When Kam Anagwin travelled to Australia, she found young and old ones who fell in love with her characters and imagination which is her inspiration for many books.
